There's not much events for today. Life's like a river. It flows incessantly - boring and nothing much differences from the grey water of a ditch.
I forced myself out of the bed, and dragged my foot to the hall. Mom was nagging again. She disliked the way I settled my stuffs. She told me off for threwing my things all over the house. Of course, I have lungful of anger. And I attacked back. That raised the hell from her, and she roared like a queen of all tigeress. I slammed the bathroom door immediately and let her shouts and scream all she wants. The shoutings and nagging seemed forever.
After awhile, I went back to my room. My sister came out and talked to my mom. This sister of mine has a knack of keeping peace in the house. Once she started talking with Mom, the piece of red iron immediately cool off.
Haix! All moms are the same! They love being praise! LoL !!
I left my door ajar, so I could hear what the conversation was about.. A moment later, mom reported a bad news to my sister - the death of an old man that stayed a level down from granny's house.. Well, it seemed like a good news to my grandma. She had been suffering from isomia everyday. The 80 years old man is suffering from a serious dementia. He would shout and grunt every day during wee hours.. It had heavily affected her sleep. Hearsay the old man had hang himself and died. The wake was held right down at granny's void deck. A sad case!
Another event happened. Mom told my sister about brother's stuff. Out of the blue, my bro sat down on the bed and cried. That's a rare scene. Not a time he cries since he was a baby. And now it happened because he misses grandpa. Well, it's natural to cry over such things..
Well...
After a moment later, I went out of my room and joined in the conversation. Mom's temper had seemed to cease down. She never scold me. She switch on the telly and both of us enjoy talking about the shows. My mom laughed as she watched the show; and from time to time, she would grab some snacks from the table.
One of the shows was about how a doctor settles a pregnant woman in an operation theater. There are many kind of knifes used during the operation. He even make a sample of how pregnant woman's stomach being cut and sealed back with string and needle. Of course the woman was being replaced with a piece of pig's body. Damn. That's the most digusting show I ever watched.
I recently found out the Death rate has increased very fast. I had started to see many other people's wake. After the death of my grandpa, a few days, later the old man that lived in the same block is having a wake there. During the wake of my grandpa, I found another family was having a wake nearby while my brother and I walked around the neighbourhood. Then a few days later, I was travelling in my dad's car, I scanned the passing sceneries and spot another wake. Then another few days later, opposite of my grandma's flat, my uncle's friend father held a wake there. My sister agreed with me.. The death rate had increased very fast in Singapore. She told me that her friend's father died recently! Today, there's another wake held nearby my house.. Block 479! Oh oh oh! What on earth had happened to this world?
